Nat & Lakorn / Thai Drama

Ada yang familiar dengan kata “lakorn”?? Saya sendiri belum begitu lama mengenal kata ini.. Lakorn sebenarnya adalah istilah khusus untuk drama Thailand.. Jadi kalau Jepang punya Dorama, Korea punya Drakor atau K-Drama, nah Thailand punya Lakorn.. Dulu sebelum mengenal Lakorn, sebenarnya saya sudah sering menonton film produksi negeri gajah putih ini.. Tapi baru sebatas film lepas saja, belum merambah ke drama berseri.. Sampai akhirnya, satu teman kantor saya merekomendasikan satu drama Thailand ke saya.. 

Pertama kali menonton Lakorn, saya merasa ada beberapa kemiripan dengan sinetron Indonesia.. Beberapa part cenderung sedikit lebay dan di-dramatisir, misalnya si pemeran antagonis yang aktingnya terkesan dibuat-buat karena sampai melotot-melotot segala.. Sinetron Indonesia banget lah.. hahaha.. Belum lagi, plot-nya yang monoton dan cenderung mudah ditebak.. Sebagai contoh, hampir semua Lakorn yang pernah saya tonton, pasti ada beach scene-nya.. Mungkin karena Thailand memang terkenal akan pantainya ya, jadi sekalian untuk mempromosikan parisiwata Thailand.. Tapi entah kenapa, lama-lama saya jadi “kecanduan” nonton Lakorn.. Mungkin karena masih newbie, jadi masih banyak stock drama bagus yang belum saya tonton.. Anyway, dari beberapa Lakorn yang sudah saya tonton, ada yang bagus banget, biasa saja, dan ada juga yang mengecewakan.. Beberapa actor & actress Thai juga sukses menarik perhatian saya.. Surprisingly, mereka ganteng2 dan cantik2 banget lho.. hahaha. Btw, saya nonton Lakorn dimana sih? Biasanya saya streaming atau download di Drakor.id, DramaCool, WatchAsian, atau Youtube.. Di sini saya ingin merekomendasikan beberapa Lakorn, yang menurut saya layak untuk ditonton, terutama buat teman-teman yang penasaran dan ingin mencoba menonton Thai drama..

Synopsis    :

Nat's Top 10 Philippines / Filipino / Tagalog Movie

Kalau membahas tentang film-film Asia, pasti yang terlintas di benak kita adalah film-film yang berasal dari Korea Selatan (kdrama), Taiwan, China, Jepang, atau bahkan India.. Saya awalnya juga ga menyangka bisa "jatuh cinta" dengan film-film dari negara yang satu ini.. As we all know, saya adalah penggemar film dengan genre romance + comedy alias romcom.. Dan surprisingly, film rom-com-nya Philippines ini bagus2 lho.. Plot-nya ga ngebosenin, malahan terkadang ending-nya bisa ga ketebak sama sekali.. Pemerannya sudah pasti ganteng dan cantik ya, secara banyak orang Filipina yang masih berdarah Spanyol.. Dijamin bikin tambah semangat nontonnya.. hahaha.. So far, actor Filipina favorit saya adalah John Lloyd Cruz dan Piolo Pascual.. Sedangkan artis Filipina favorit saya adalah Bea Alonzo & Toni Gonzaga.. Salah satu film yang membuat saya gagal move on adalah Starting Over Again.. T_T

Keseringan menonton film-film Philippines membuat saya mengenal beberapa kosa kata dalam Bahasa Tagalog.. Bahkan sekarang, saya juga menggemari lagu-lagu dalam Bahasa Tagalog.. hehehe.. Air Asia per tanggal 19 Januari 2018 juga membuka rute Bali - Manila.. Serba kebetulan ya.. Semoga ini pertanda bahwa suatu hari nanti saya bisa menginjakkan kaki di Philippines.. #fingercrossed

New Year's Resolution

Happy New Year 2017 everyone.. Untuk post pertama di tahun 2017 ini, saya ingin berbagi tentang resolusi saya untuk tahun 2017.. Sebenarnya saya bukanlah orang yang gemar membuat resolusi setiap pergantian tahun.. Bahkan ini adalah pertama kalinya saya membuat resolusi.. hehehe.. Saya memang type orang yang "just go with the flow" dan "expect less - hurt less".. Tapi untuk tahun 2017 ini saya ingin membuat resolusi yang saya harap bisa menjadi reminder sekaligus penyemangat dan motivasi saya untuk bisa mencapai apa yang saya targetkan, menjalani hidup yang lebih baik, dan tentu saja menjadi a better Nat.. Mau tahu apa saja resolusi saya di tahun 2017??

1. Job, Career, & Education

Resolusi pertama saya untuk tahun 2017 adalah dalam hal pekerjaan, karir, dan pendidikan.. Setiap orang pasti memiliki harapan ada peningkatan dalam hal karir dan pekerjaan setiap tahunnya.. Saya pun demikian.. Saya memulai karir saya di perusahaan tempat saya bekerja saat ini di akhir tahun 2015 kemarin.. Jadi masa kerja saya sudah setahun lebih sedikit.. So far so good.. Walaupun banyak hal berbeda yang saya temukan di lingkungan baru ini, saya bersyukur saya bisa beradaptasi dengan cepat..

Posisi saya saat ini berada di dalam divisi Accounting.. Memiliki background pendidikan Manajemen Keuangan tidak menghalangi saya untuk berkarir dalam bidang Accounting.. Hal ini merupakan salah satu hasil "kegalauan" saya di masa lalu.. hehehe.. Alih2 mengambil jurusan Accounting, saya malah mengambil jurusan Manajemen.. Dulu awal2 mencari kerja, sempat kesulitan dengan gelar saya ini, karena ada perusahaan yang mengharuskan bagian Accounting-nya memiliki background pendidikan Accounting bukan Manajemen.. Setelah sempat menjadi Operational di salah satu restaurant terkenal di Bali, saya akhirnya diterima bekerja di salah satu perusahaan FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods).. Saya menghabiskan tahun pertama saya sebagai Accounting Staff sekaligus menyelesaikan pendidikan D3 Perpajakan saya di Universitas Terbuka.. Setelah itu, saya dipromosikan menjadi Purchasing Supervisor, dan setahun kemudian saya dipromosikan kembali menjadi Finance Supervisor.. Resign setelah masa kerja 3,5 tahun, saya bergabung dengan perusahaan freight forwarder yang menjadi tempat saya bekerja saat ini.. Awal tahun 2016 ini saya juga membekali diri saya dengan ikut pelatihan Brevet A/B dan mengambil S1 Sastra Inggris di Universitas Terbuka..

Di usia saya yang tidak muda lagi ini terkadang saya masih bimbang ketika ditanya karir di bidang apa atau pekerjaan apa yang saya inginkan.. Kalau dilihat dari interests saya, kemungkinan saya akan cocok bekerja di bidang tourism, seperti di hotel & travel agent.. Tapi saya juga suka dengan hal2 yang berhubungan dengan perpajakan (taxation).. Kebetulan orang tua saya juga bekerja dalam bidang yang berkaitan dengan perpajakan.. Menjadi konsultan pajak adalah target jangka panjang saya.. Untuk bisa mencapai target tersebut, tentu saya harus mengambil step2 mulai dari sekarang untuk dapat mencapai target tersebut.. Misalnya saja dengan mencari pekerjaan yang berkaitan dengan perpajakan.. Karena untuk menjadi konsultan pajak, tidak hanya memerlukan teori atau pendidikan, tetapi juga praktek dan pengalaman yang didapat lewat kasus2 yang dihadapi sehari2..

2.  Closer to God & More Family Time 

"Closer to God dan more family time" menjadi resolusi saya untuk tahun 2017 karena saya merasa di tahun 2016 ini saya kurang menyediakan waktu untuk Tuhan dan keluarga.. Dulu ketika jadwal kerja saya Senin-Jumat, waktu di rumah terasa lebih banyak walaupun di saat weekdays saya selalu lembur dan pulang malam.. Karena saat weekend saya punya waktu 2 hari untuk beristirahat dan quality time dengan keluarga.. Ketika sekarang saya kerja Senin-Sabtu, otomatis saya hanya punya waktu di hari Minggu.. Ke Gereja juga jadi sering bolong karena keluarga saya lebih sering ke Gereja saat hari Sabtu.. Hari Minggu pun terkadang saya lebih sering merasa kecapekan sehingga hanya ingin beristirahat dan me time..

3.  Exercise More & Lose Weight

Sebulan terakhir ini entah kena angin apa, saya tiba2 semangat olahraga.. hehehe.. Olahraga-nya bukan yang nge-gym atau yang mahal2.. Yang gratisan aja dan dilakukan di rumah.. Modalnya hanya smartphone yang ada koneksi internet-nya.. Jadi sepulang kerja, dari Senin sampai Jumat saya dan adik saya rutin melakukan Zumba.. 

Buat yang belum tahu apa itu Zumba, berikut saya kutipkan pengertian Zumba.. Zumba or Zumba Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio-dance workout that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere.. Zumba menurut saya lebih asyik dan ga bikin bosan bila dibandingkan dengan aerobic, BL, atau nge-gym.. Music-nya bagus2 dan saya memang penggemar music2 Latin.. Gerakannya yang merupakan kombinasi antara dance dan fitness juga sangat variatif.. Awalnya memang berat, apalagi gerakannya Zumba itu kan menguras energi karena cepat dan semua bagian tubuh akan ikut bergerak.. Tapi lama2, badan sudah terbiasa dan sekarang kalau ga Zumba malah merasa kurang fit.. Biasanya saya Zumba sekitar 45 menit setiap harinya.. Di Youtube banyak banget bertebaran video2 Zumba, dari yang gerakannya untuk beginner (pemula) macam saya sampai yang ke level advanced.. Saya ada beberapa video favorit, salah satunya seperti video di bawah ini.. Gerakannya simple, tapi benar2 bikin keringat bercucuran.. Satu sesi hanya 4 menit-an, jadi bisa digabung dengan video lainnya.. Kalau saya, video ini bisa saya ulang 3-5x setiap kali Zumba.. hehehe..

Saya memang belum menimbang berat badan jadi ga tahu sudah turun berapa kg.. Lagian saya mulai berolahraga bukan karena pengen kurus, tapi supaya lebih sehat dan lebih fit.. Yang jelas baju sudah terasa lebih longgar dan ga ada yang namanya sakit pinggang dan badan kaku2 yang biasanya sering saya rasakan sehabis pulang kerja.. hehehe..

4.  Travel More

Sudah baca "Natinbali : The Travel Destination Bucket List" ??? Tahun berganti, travel destination bucket list juga berubah.. hehehe.. Mengutip dari bukunya Mba Claudia Kaunang, "Sebaiknya setiap tahun kita punya TARGET TRAVELING.. Tercapai atau tidak, itu urusan belakangan.. Yang penting kita sudah berencana, nanti tinggal Tuhan yang menentukan kita akan jalan2 ke mana"..

Saya masih ingin ke Roma dan London kok.. hehehe.. Hanya saja untuk 2017 ada tempat yang lebih ingin saya kunjungi dan menjadi target jangka pendek saya.. Tempat itu adalah Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Solo, dan Perth.. Bangkok & Solo sebenarnya sudah saya kunjungi di tahun 2016, tapi entah kenapa sudah ingin kembali ke 2 kota tersebut.. Inginnya di tahun 2017 atau 2018 bisa liburan ke Bangkok & Ho Chi Minh.. Saya sudah kangen banget dengan kulinernya Bangkok.. hehehe.. Kalau Solo, ini tempat favorit saya untuk borong baju batik dan baju tidur.. Berhubung stock baju2 saya sudah menipis, sepertinya sudah saatnya untuk saya kembali ke Solo.. wkwkwk.. Kalau Perth, kadang suka baper lihat tiket Air Asia rute Bali - Perth yang pas promo cuma 500k itu.. Ah semoga berkesempatan untuk menginjakkan kaki di Benua Australia.. hehehe..

5.  Save Money

Last but not least, nabunggg... hahaha.. Yang ini nih jujur sulit banget saya terapkan.. Saya adalah type orang yang ga bisa pegang duit.. Terima gaji setiap bulan, belum akhir bulan udah habis.. Hehehe.. Belum lagi ada bantuan kartu kredit yang membuat saya leluasa belanja dan baru nangis saat tagihan datang bulan depannya.. #janganditiru

Makanya saya berharap banget di tahun 2017 ini bisa mulai menabung.. Ga usah banyak2, yang penting punya tabungan untuk emergency dan syukur2 nanti bisa dijadikan investasi.. Cara paling gampang menurut saya adalah dengan ikut tabungan rencana / berjangka di bank yang langsung dipotong dari rekening kita.. Kalau dengan cara ini kita seperti dipaksa menabung.. hehehe..
