Nat & Lakorn / Thai Drama

Ada yang familiar dengan kata “lakorn”?? Saya sendiri belum begitu lama mengenal kata ini.. Lakorn sebenarnya adalah istilah khusus untuk drama Thailand.. Jadi kalau Jepang punya Dorama, Korea punya Drakor atau K-Drama, nah Thailand punya Lakorn.. Dulu sebelum mengenal Lakorn, sebenarnya saya sudah sering menonton film produksi negeri gajah putih ini.. Tapi baru sebatas film lepas saja, belum merambah ke drama berseri.. Sampai akhirnya, satu teman kantor saya merekomendasikan satu drama Thailand ke saya.. 

Pertama kali menonton Lakorn, saya merasa ada beberapa kemiripan dengan sinetron Indonesia.. Beberapa part cenderung sedikit lebay dan di-dramatisir, misalnya si pemeran antagonis yang aktingnya terkesan dibuat-buat karena sampai melotot-melotot segala.. Sinetron Indonesia banget lah.. hahaha.. Belum lagi, plot-nya yang monoton dan cenderung mudah ditebak.. Sebagai contoh, hampir semua Lakorn yang pernah saya tonton, pasti ada beach scene-nya.. Mungkin karena Thailand memang terkenal akan pantainya ya, jadi sekalian untuk mempromosikan parisiwata Thailand.. Tapi entah kenapa, lama-lama saya jadi “kecanduan” nonton Lakorn.. Mungkin karena masih newbie, jadi masih banyak stock drama bagus yang belum saya tonton.. Anyway, dari beberapa Lakorn yang sudah saya tonton, ada yang bagus banget, biasa saja, dan ada juga yang mengecewakan.. Beberapa actor & actress Thai juga sukses menarik perhatian saya.. Surprisingly, mereka ganteng2 dan cantik2 banget lho.. hahaha. Btw, saya nonton Lakorn dimana sih? Biasanya saya streaming atau download di Drakor.id, DramaCool, WatchAsian, atau Youtube.. Di sini saya ingin merekomendasikan beberapa Lakorn, yang menurut saya layak untuk ditonton, terutama buat teman-teman yang penasaran dan ingin mencoba menonton Thai drama..

Synopsis    :

KDrama ~ My Mister (My Ahjussi / Naui Ajusshi / 나의 아저씨)

Annyeong.. Setelah beberapa bulan "hiatus" dari dunia kdrama, akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk menonton kdrama lagi.. Apalagi di tengah-tengah penulisan karya ilmiah dan persiapan tugas akhir program, saya memang perlu hiburan.. Biar ga stress kan ya.. hehehe.. Sayangnya kdrama yang "on-going" tidak ada yang menarik di hati.. Berharap banyak dengan drama-nya TVN yang baru tamat itu.. Tapi kalau lihat clip-nya di IG, kok ya tiap episode kissing melulu.. Saya yang biasanya doyan dengan drama bergenre rom-com, tiba-tiba malas banget nonton drama model begitu.. Untungnya ketika lagi IG-an, tanpa sengaja saya menonton clip-nya drama My Ahjussi.. Video yang singkat itu ternyata cukup membuat saya penasaran untuk langsung streaming episode demi episode drama My Ahjussi ini..

Synopsis  :

The oldest brother, Sang-Hoon (Park Ho-San), doesn't have a job and he is separated from his wife. Gi-Hoon (Song Sae-Byeok) is the youngest brother and he wants to become a movie director.
Meanwhile, Ji-An (IU) lives in a difficult situation. She supports her grandmother who is unable to move by herself. Ji-An is also in heavy debt and is harassed by loan shark Gwang-Il (Chang Ki-Yong). She works as a temp employee at the same construction company as Dong-Hoon. One day, she sees Dong-Hoon receive 50 million won ($50,000 USD) of gift certificates. She goes back to the office late at night and takes the gift certificates from Dong-Hoon's desk. She tries to pay off her debts with the gift certificates, but her plan doesn't work out.
Ji-An learns that Joon-Young, the company Vice President, is having an affair with Dong-Hoon's wife. She goes to Joon-Young and offers to make Dong-Hoon leave the company if he will pay her. 


For me, this drama is simply a masterpiece.. Bahkan ketika saya selesai menonton episode ke-16-nya, saya masih susah move-on dari drama ini.. Ujung-ujungnya re-watching.. hahaha.. Anehnya, saya biasanya tidak suka drama model begini.. Ceritanya lumayan "berat" untuk saya yang penggemar drama rom-com.. Apalagi drama ini minim skinship.. hehehe.. Tapi walapun minim skinship, drama ini sukses buat saya baper sebaper-bapernya.. Padahal drama ini bisa dibilang bukan romantic drama.. No kissing, hug pun cuma sekali doang.. Tapi lihat Ahjussi dan Jian tatap-tatapan saja sudah berhasil membuat saya ikutan sedih dan baper.. Makanya banyak yang bilang, My Ahjussi ini adalah the most romantic non-romantic drama.. hahaha..

Buat sebagian orang, plot drama ini memang tidak biasa.. Ga heran di Korea Selatan pun saat itu sampai heboh karena mengira drama ini menceritakan tentang kisah cinta Ahjussi berusia 45 tahun dengan cewek muda berusia 21 tahun.. Ditambah lagi dengan pemainn utamanya yang merupakan idol atau penyanyi terkenal di Korsel.. Tambah deh banyak yang ribut, sampai-sampai sutradara dan casts-nya harus berulang kali menjelaskan bahwa drama ini tidak dan bukan sekedar love story seperti yang dikira banyak orang.. Kalau saya sih percaya bahwa "when you truly love someone, age is just a number"..  So sudah pasti saya masuk ke team pendukung Ahjussi & Jian.. hahaha..

Tapi drama My Ahjussi ini tidak hanya menawarkan kisah romantis lho.. Banyak pelajaran hidup yang bisa dipetik dari drama ini.. Bagaimana dua orang dengan latar belakang yang sangat berbeda, dengan berbagai permasalahan dan beban hidup, bisa bertemu, saling membantu dan menyemangati, sampai akhirnya menemukan kebahagiaannya masing-masing..

Standing ovation juga untuk director dan screenwriter drama My Ahjussi ini.. Drama ini digarap dengan ciamik banget.. Padahal kalau dilihat, kebanyakan scene-nya hanya di dalam kereta (metro), di bar, di kantor, dan di jalanan.. Tapi attention-to-detail-nya benar-benar luar biasa.. Dua pemain utama My Ahjussi, Lee Sun-Kyun dan Lee Ji-Eun pun ternyata sukses membungkam mulut para haters.. Duet mereka ini sukses membius para penonton.. Pada ga menyangka kan IU cocok juga disandingkan dengan Lee Sun-Kyun yang jauh lebih senior.. Banyak scene di My Ahjussi ini yang tanpa dialog, kalau pun ada, kata-katanya sangat singkat dan sederhana.. Untuk itu diperlukan akting yang mumpuni, sehingga maksud dan emosi yang harus ditampilkan oleh para pemain tersampaikan ke para penonton.. Duh, ga heran deh kalau drama ini sukses menyabet penghargaan Best Drama dan Best Screenplay di 2019 BaekSang Arts Awards.. Harusnya sih layak juga mendapatkan penghargaan Best Actor dan Best Actress juga.. Siapa yang menyangka Lee Sun-Kyun dan Lee Ji-Eun memiliki chemistry yang daebak.. hehehe.. 

Buat yang belum pernah menonton drama ini, monggo dicoba.. Awalnya saya juga kurang tertarik, apalagi scene-nya banyak yang gelap dan kebanyakan pemainnya senior-senior semua.. Tapi setelah beberapa episode, saya malah jatuh hati.. Tiap malam bantal jadi basah karena mewek terus dan besoknya kerja dengan mata bengkak karena kebanyakan nangis.. hahaha..

SideWalk Jimbaran

Sebagai orang yang sudah puluhan tahun tinggal dan hidup di Bali, saya tahu betul rasanya ketika jumlah shopping mall di Bali itu hanya satu atau dua biji.. Rasanya itu bosan banget setiap minggu pergi ke mall yang sama, tapi waktu itu no choice at all.. hahaha.. Hal yang sama dengan per-bioskop-an di Bali.. Dulu bioskop di Bali hanya ada satu biji.. Itu pun kagak pernah ke sana karena ditakut-takutin papa saya, katanya banyak tikusnya.. hahaha.. Tapi memang dari tampilan luarnya saja tidak meyakinkan.. Yang tinggal di Bali pasti tahu kan bioskop mana yang saya maksud.. wkwkwk.. Tapi untungnya beberapa tahun belakangan ini, mulai bermunculan shopping mall baru lengkap dengan bioskop-nya.. Sekarang mah sudah ga usah bingung mau jalan kemana saat weekend atau ketika pengen nonton bioskop.. Tapi ya gitu, ukuran shopping mall-nya nanggung.. Kapan ya di Bali ada shopping mall model Tunjungan Plaza, Senayan City, dan ION Orchard ?? hahaha.. #mimpikali

Berhubung waktu itu Trans Studio Mall Bali baru saja soft opening, untuk menghindari keramaian, saya melipir ke Jimbaran untuk mengunjungi shopping mall yang juga baru banget dibuka.. SideWalk Jimbaran ini berlokasi di Jalan Raya Uluwatu, tidak jauh dari pertigaan ke arah kampus Unud (Universitas Udayana).. Secara ukuran, SideWalk Jimbaran ini memang tidak sebesar Mall Bali Galeria (MBG) atau Beachwalk.. Ya sekelas Plaza Renon atau Level 21 gitu.. Parking space-nya  sih lumayan.. Ada yang di basement dan yang di depan mall which is tempat parkir VIP (extra 10k).. 

Untuk tenant-nya sendiri, masih sangat sangat terbatas.. Mungkin karena mereka baru grand opening juga ya.. Tenants-nya mostly tempat makan, seperti Burger King, Richeese Factory, Bibimbap, Bread Talk, dan JCo.. Plus tambahan restaurant Wanaku dan Sushi Tei di lantai atas.. Untuk stores-nya, yang kelihatan hanya Optik Melawai, Ipanema, Sensatia, dan Guardian.. Di lantai 2 juga ada playground buat anak-anak.. Untuk supermarket, di SideWalk ada Pepito Supermarket yang lumayan komplit barang-barangnya.. Buah-buahnya segar banget, jadi saya yang berjiwa emak-emak ini betah banget belanja buah dan bumbu masak di sini.. hehehe..

Yang tinggal di kawasan Jimbaran dan Uluwatu, sekarang juga tidak perlu jauh-jauh ke Denpasar atau Kuta kalau lagi pengen nonton bioskop.. Secara di SideWalk ini ada Cinemaxx-nya lho.. Sebagai penggemar Cinemaxx, kayaknya suatu saat harus coba nonton di sini.. hehehe.. Oh ya, berhubung bingung mau ngapain lagi di sini, akhirnya saya nongkrong di JCo.. hahaha..
